Musgroves Family Mortuary is the proud recipient of the the Pursuit of Excellence Award for the past five years.

Pursuit of Excellence (P.O.E.) is the National Funeral Director's Association premier program for honoring excellence and ethical standards in funeral service. To achieve recognition in the "Pursuit of Excellence" Program, a funeral home must meet quality service criteria in nine categories of achievement. The categories include education, compassionate service, technical skills, community and professional service, library and media resources, professional development, in-house staff training and superior public and community relations.
